Drafting Chairs & Stools

6 Products

Standard chairs fail when your work surface is raised, leading to dangling feet and restricted circulation. Our drafting collection features extended gas cylinders (24"–34") and adjustable foot rings to ensure a solid "grounded" feel, preventing leg fatigue and maintaining spinal alignment at standing-height desks or counters.

The Drafting Height Fit Guide: Preventing "Heavy Leg" Syndrome

The 90-Degree Rule: Even at elevated heights, your knees should maintain a 90-degree angle with your feet firmly supported by the foot ring to prevent pressure on the underside of your thighs.

When working at a standing desk or high counter, the primary ergonomic risk is venous pooling caused by dangling feet. Our drafting stools are engineered with reinforced adjustable foot rings that act as a "false floor." This ensures that the weight of your legs is supported, taking the strain off your lower lumbar discs and maintaining healthy circulation during long shifts in laboratories, studios, or sit-stand workstations.
